I am delighted to announce that all of the City Through The Eyes of Its Artists books (and the next in the series - Manchester) have been acquired by Bloomsbury Publishing. When I had the idea for The Cambridge Art Book in 2015 I would never have believed that I would have worked with over 400 artists, over 60 celebrities and produced 8 books in the series. I am very much looking forward to working with Bloomsbury and continuing this exciting journey.

Anyone who knows me well, knows of my life long love of Julie Walters. Meeting her in the 80's she was every bit the same in real life as on TV/film. Dame Julie has looked at a selection of the images chosen for The Birmingham Art Book, and has said this:

After a frustrating year for us, publication of The Bristol and Bath Book, the sixth in The City Art Book series was delayed. I am pleased to say the book is now with the designers, so progress at last! I am also thrilled to say that the next in the art book series will be the iconic city of Birmingham. Chosen to host to The Commonwealth Games in 2022, Birmingham will now have two things to celebrate!

As we are all stuck at home at the moment, you can travel via books - The City Art Books take you to 5 cities (Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Dublin) through the eyes of the local artists they inspire. Over 120 pages of beautiful images in a range of media and styles.
Until Christmas the Oxford Art Book is only £11 (Usually £14.99) A bargain for this lovely hardback book - you can even get it signed!
