Libra Recruitment turns 5 🎉🎉
As far back as I can remember, it has always been a dream of mine to start and run my own business.
Libra Recruitment is a business I am so passionate about, and I am so proud to still be here 5 years later.
Has it always been easy? Absolutely not!
1 year after incorporating we went into a national lockdown, I followed this up with the birth of my first child and then we were hit with 2 more lockdowns, not a good start to a recruitment business when no one wants to recruit.
The first couple of years, I can not count the number of times I thought about giving up and closing the business, as I faced challenges of not only building a business but also navigating lockdowns.
The most important thing I have learnt over the past 5 years is that no matter how much rejection I have faced, or how many times I have been knocked down, I have stood up every time and kept fighting to push this business forward.
I want to thank every client that has worked with me over the past 5 years, every candidate who has chosen to be represented by Libra Recruitment, Paul Underhill, my fiancé and newly appointed Director of Libra Recruitment who has always being my biggest cheerleader, and finally my children for being my biggest inspiration (pictured below).
I also want to say a special thank you to everyone who told me I couldn’t do it. Those comments motivated me more than anything, and well, here I am 5 years later… I'm doing it 😁
