🚀 Most R&D partnerships in space talk about collaboration. Far fewer actually deliver it.

At SPACETIDE 2026, we’re hosting a side event: Beyond borders: R&D partnerships driving and accelerating space innovation. The panel will explore how cross-border partnerships, industry and government collaboration and dual-use technologies are accelerating real innovation in the space sector.

We’ll be joined by a fantastic line-up of panellists from across Japan and the global space ecosystem.

Cervical screening is designed to save lives, yet many women still delay or avoid it. For some, the experience can feel uncomfortable, invasive or not designed with the patient in mind.

That was the starting point for Forme, our iF Gold Award‑winning concept, reimagining cervical screening through a more human‑centred lens.

💡 By stepping back and asking “how should this experience feel?”, we explored a different approach, one that supports dignity, reduces anxiety and gives patients a greater sense of control.

🏅 Described by the iF Design Awards as a “long overdue innovation executed with great care and intelligence”

Forme highlights what’s possible when design and engineering come together with empathy at their core.

🤖 Robots won’t truly scale until connectivity catches up.

That’s where 6G comes in. Beyond faster phones, next‑generation networks could enable robots to operate as connected, all‑sensing, always‑learning fleets – unlocking far greater capability than today’s standalone systems.

In this CNET article by Katie Collins, CC features as part of a wider look at how advances in connectivity could transform robotic intelligence, collaboration and autonomy with implications across industry, hospitality, care environments and eventually our homes.

The article highlights our Mobile World Congress demo of an autonomous humanoid robot, powered by private 5G. The robot demonstrated real‑time gesture recognition, adaptive grip control and long‑horizon planning, showing what’s already achievable today and offering a glimpse of what 6G could enable at scale.

💬 What do you see as the biggest barrier to scaling intelligent, connected robots – connectivity, compute, trust or something else? We are interested to hear your perspective.

This next-generation network technology won't just make our phones faster; it'll unlock new capabilities in robots, turning them into all-sensing, always-learning fleets.

Design starts with people. That mindset has just been recognised on the global stage. 🏆

At CC, our deep tech innovation begins with a simple question: how can advanced technology meaningfully improve people’s lives?

That human‑centred approach has been recognised with three iF Design Awards, including the prestigious iF Gold Award, given to fewer than 1% of entries worldwide.

Our award‑winning design concepts span healthcare, consumer experiences and music, from rethinking the cervical screening experience, to making complex beverages technology feel effortless, to opening up new ways of learning and creating music.

While these are concept designs rather than commercial products, they reflect how our teams bring together engineering, design and human insight to explore what’s possible when deep tech is shaped around real user needs.

We’re incredibly proud of the designers, engineers and technologists behind this work and grateful to the iF Design Awards recognising the value of design with purpose.
