Some of the best business advice I get is at Business Brew.

Every week one of our members takes the hot seat. They bring a real, live problem from their business and put it to the room. Then the rest of us get to work. Not by piling in with opinions, but by asking questions. Lots of them. Only once we properly understand the problem do we start offering ideas and solutions.

We call it a mastermind, and it's one of the best bits of being in the group. You'd be surprised what a roomful of business owners can untangle in one sitting.

This week, it's Jill McCulloch's turn.

Jill runs Coach You, and she's also our special guest speaker, sharing a presentation on the power of networking. So she's doing both: giving to the room from the front, and trusting the room with a challenge of her own. That's exactly the spirit of the group.

It's also our Cambridge Visitors Day, so if you've ever wondered how we work, this is the morning to come and see it.
