PLASTERING AND REDECORATION OF BEDROOM AND HALLWAY

-All old paper stripped and walls sanded down
- Corner Tapes and beads applied
- A coat of PVA to size the walls prior to any skimming
- Low spots in rooms were levelled, out using British gypsum bonding
- The Ceilings and walls were plastered in a 2 coat process, using British gypsum multi-finish
(🤠might tell you differently)
- Once plaster was dry, the rooms were coated with an acrylic primer
-all woodwork was primed, filled and decorators caulk applied throughout
- undercoat applied to the woodwork and satinwood was used on the final coat
The same coloured vinyl Matt was used on both ceilings and walls in a 2 coat process

It’s not often a job of this scale is required but when i and is finished properly, all the hours of hard work become worth it🤌🏽 job satisfaction at its highest😁

▪️Walls we’re stripped
▫️All old tapes removed
▪️New tapes applied and coated out
▫️Wood undercoated
▪️Walls skimmed out and snag filled
▫️A miscoat applied to walls and ceilings and all gaps in wood filled out
▪️Ceiling and walls finished in vinyl matt
▫️Finally the woodwork was finished in satinwood.

A few before and afters of a hall I’d skimmed out last week. Theres nothing more satisfying than bringing old walls back to life with a bit of plastering🤩

Some taping and joining that was done afew weeks back all ready for a coat of paint. It’s crazy the a difference a few coats of filler can make😅
