I have noticed that people are still visiting this site, which is lovely but please look at the pinned post for The Access Collaboration Ltd and Sue Pellegrino Associates which have been combined. Any messages are unlikely to be answered within the three hours stated sadly! I have however been doing some informal auditing and consultancy (before CV-19 of course) so contact [email protected] for advice on that. I have fully retired now after a hectic, exhilarating but wonderful 20 year period, first with my company The Access Collaboration Ltd, then as Sue Pellegrino Associates once I became semi-retired. Long term contracts with the National Trust (7 years) with over 250 properties audited, We worked on major NT developments at Stourhead, Ickworth, Crow Wood at Lyme Park and Tyntesfield (£20m HLF grant). Next came full site audits and consultancy at Kew Gardens, Wakehurst Place and the Millenium Seed Bank for over three years. We were commissioned by Canterbury City Council over 8 years auditing more than 40 major properties including the Council Offices and Sports Centres throughout the District.
AC Ltd was a member of the Design Team with Keith Williams Architects for the new build Marlowe Theatre (AC Ltd was included in the RIBA Award), and for the extension and re-modelling of the Beaney Institute (Sue Rogers Architects). Over 8 years Sue Pellegrino and team advised and audited over 60 buildings for Canterbury Christchurch University, was on the design team, ADP Architects again for Augustine House on the ring road.
For 5 years Sue worked on the Design Team for the re-build of Canterbury College this time with Archial Architects.
Our team were on the design team again with ADP Architects of the town regeneration project in Southend. In London we worked on a number of projects including the 6 star boutique hotel in Baker St with Manhatton Lofts. Residential properties for 4 major housing providers in London including Care Homes and community projects across the Southeast. Various schools and children’s centres were audited across the U.K on behalf of CSCI noe CQC. I have to say I totally loved the job, the work and the people and it is thrilling to know that access for all has become more of a reality - but there is still so much to do! I am however glad not to be continuously on the road living out of suitcases and working happily in my garden!
