✨ It’s been a while… but I’m still here!

I’ve been a bit quieter on here recently, but life (and work!) has been busy behind the scenes.

Over the past months I’ve been:

📚 Studying towards my AAT Level 4 in Accountancy

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Spending some much-needed time visiting my family down in Stafford

🎉 Planning my son’s 11th birthday, with the whole family coming to Cardiff (which
I’m really looking forward to!)

💻 And, of course, continuing to support my lovely clients as a Virtual Assistant

Alongside all of this, my focus has remained on providing consistent, reliable support to my clients as a Virtual Assistant.

🔥 This Virtual Assistant is on fire! Just smashed my AAT Level 4 Accounting Financial
Statements module with a whopping 92%! 🔥 I passed yay.😀

Juggling client tasks, a few cups of coffee, and still managed to ace this qualification. Who says VAs can't do it all?

So all those late nights studying have finally paid off. I am proud to be adding another professional qualification under my belt to provide even better support for my amazing clients.

A massive thank you to my study buddies and mentors who helped me pass this qualification. One step closer to my full AAT 4 accounting qualification!

2024 Highlights:
🎯 Qualified as a bookkeeper
📚 Jumped straight into Level 4 AAT Accountancy.

Wow, what a whirlwind the last couple of months have been.

Here's what I have been up to:

🌟 Had a lovely holiday with my son in Pembrokeshire
🌟 Tried (well, watched) the high ropes in Penarth. Roped in my good friend Georgina Moorcroft to take my son while I snapped pictures.
🌟Received a bursary to study my AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accountancy at College. I just finished my first week, and OMG it is Tough.

On a professional front

👩‍💼 I had the pleasure of appearing on the podcast Women Talking Money with Gretchen Betts. My very first podcast.
👩‍💼My incredible client Grace Quantock just launched her
new book "Living Well with Chronic Illness: Write your own roadmap to healing in tough times" She is so inspiring, and I’m honoured to work with her. I would highly recommend purchasing it.
👩‍💼I’ve mastered Active Campaign to automate email campaigns. I feel like a pro.
👩‍💼I attended my first Jigsaw Business Women event and had the pleasure of catching up with some incredible businesswomen: my photographer Gemma Griffiths, my web designer Lisa Rees and my Marketing Coach Clair Stevenson. They are all amazing 😊
👩‍💼And… I’m in the final stages of launching my new website. Stay tuned as it is coming soon.

How are your summer holidays going as a business owner? Are you surviving? 😬

As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, I hope you’re all finding some time to relax and recharge. It is so important to find that balance between work and relaxation.

I’ve taken a little break from LinkedIn over the past couple of weeks, and here’s what I’ve been up to:

On the personal front:
🌟 Enjoyed loads of amazing adventures with my son, and yes, I’ve been dragged to the fair twice, maybe three times!
🌟 Prioritised self-care.
🌟 Planned an exciting holiday to Pembrokeshire for me and my son.
🌟 Spent quality time with friends.
🌟 Went on refreshing walks.

On the business side:
🌟 Prioritised my clients to ensure they have a healthy work-life balance.
🌟 Worked together with my amazing web designer Lisa Rees to complete my website.
🌟Attended two inspiring networking events with Jigsaw Business women and Laura Brunton⚡ Super Connector, meeting fabulous businesswomen.
🌟 Agreed to participate in an upcoming podcast.

Many people come to me for help when they are really struggling to keep on top of admin. It tends to be the time when they feel that it's make or break, and the growth of their business is suffering because of it.

I get it.

It's easy to feel like you've got things covered when you are just about keeping on top of things. I mean, why would you need help? These are all easy jobs to do and you've always done them and kept things ticking over.
