Look into your business schedule and plan an hour or two a week to prepare your social media and email marketing content in advance.

Be prepared! Plan and Execute! otherwise you will end up forgetting to post or you will post in a rush. Keep your spontaneity and personality but plan! always PLAN

💡 Tip: Use Facebook Content Creator Studio (part of your FB Business Page tools) to schedule your content ahead of time. You can pre-post on IG and FB via the creator studio.

2K consumers age 18 and over were interviewed for a recent study revealing that those from London plan to spend the most during Black Friday sales in the UK, averaging 468 British pounds.

Followed by Wales at 338 pounds and Scotland at 292 pounds. In contrast, those surveyed from East Anglia are likely to spend the least, averaging 130 pounds.

There are many elements of marketing, digital or traditional. Using more than one element is what often brings results. But where to start? Know your audience and your product and determine which way to reach your target market.

Is it online? offline? a mix of both?

Remember tho,
Marketing doesn't have to be:

🛑boring
🛑complicated
🛑time consuming

Marketing should be:
🟢FUN
🟢Engaging
🟢Clean
🟢Simple

If you market via social media and want to know more about your audience:
- Make small polls and ask them what they want to see and how often.
- Have a dedicated channel JUST for your small business (not mix family content with business content)
- Make fun reels
- Make sure you are talking with your audience
- Be open and understanding, never defensive.

Stop. Right. now!
“Boosting” Posts can seem the easy way to boost engagement, however is it the most cost effective way?

The biggest technical difference between the Boost Post button and manually promoting a post through Ads Manager has always been the number of targeting and bidding options.

However, the Boost Post feature has seen some significant updates in the last year. As of July 2020, some of the new updates include:

👉Advanced demographic and behavioral targeting options
👉The ability to use and create custom audiences
👉Conversion tracking with the implementation of pixels (note: only an available option if you have an existing pixel built)

Boost Post is still limited when compared to manual promotion via ads manager.. it still is:

👉Limited to one audience at a time
👉No placement or device targeting (Desktop vs. Mobile vs. Column)
👉Limited duration of ad flights; there’s no ongoing option
👉Facebook offers far superior targeting options in Ad Manager. Period!

Botton line if you are looking to acquire new leads? Conversion pixel-tracked link posts or native lead forms are the way to go. If you just want engagement, sure go for boosting and/or engagement/traffic ads manager targeting.

Today let’s talk social media strategy. Are you winging it? Do you have a goal? Do you plan your content? One of the number one mistakes many businesses make is not having a concise and structured social media strategy.

Think about 💡
👉🏼 what do you want to achieve? Brand awareness? Then focus on growth and engagement. More sales/leads? Then focus on targeting, strong copy and audience research
👉🏼 where? You don’t need to be in every social media platform under the sun. Just find out where your potential audience is at, and plan your content accordingly. Also consider your brand placements to increase potential reach.
👉🏼 know who your audience is, how to talk to them, find your unique selling proposition and your “hook”
👉🏼when, what time of the day your audience is the most attentive, and what time of the year (growth periods)
