It is Blue Monday - but we hope to take the blue out of it, and make it brighter. January is feeling very long and grey, and did I mention rainy? So, today we are all about the stuff we can change - connection, community and helping each other along the way.

Would anybody like to set up their own small business which supports, or cares for others (adults who are older or with disabilities)? Doing the kind of work which makes you feel good, offering services which appeal to you, and earning an income at the same time! We have a free development programme (no catches), giving advice about self-employment. There is also funding available for lots of the start-up costs, and we can sign post you to relevant training if you need it.

We are a social enterprise operating across the UK which helps local people to support other local people. This project is in collaboration with Cardiff Council.

Happy New Year, everyone! ✨

As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we had in 2025. A huge thank you to everyone who supported our project - you’ve made a real difference!

Some of the many highlights from 2025:
✅ Presenting at the Understanding Disability Awards in November - thank you, Cardiff & the Vale Parents' Federation, for welcoming us! Meeting so many inspiring award winners and amazing people was truly a blessing
✅ Attending the Learning Disabilities: Voice, Choice & Control event, hosted by IMPACT. This in-person gathering sparked powerful conversations about giving people with learning disabilities more influence over decisions that shape their lives
✅ We were proud to join Into Work and Working Wales events, supporting job seekers, employed, and self-employed individuals with advice and opportunities
💻 Plus, our Self-Employment Workshops, delivered with Multiply and Cardiff Council’s Digital Support team, helped attendees to boost digital skills and turn business ideas into reality🚀

Here’s to 2026 - a year of new opportunities, connections, and growth!
