(English below) Am braf oedd cael treulio amser yn yr EVI ar gyfer diwrnod staff wythnos ddiwethaf. Mae ProMo yn gwarchod ac yn cynnal Institiwt Glyn Ebwy, ac felly yn bachu ar y cyfle i gael mynd draw i ymweld â'r adeilad bob hyn a hyn.

"Braf yw cael gweld pawb i sgwrsio a dathlu'r holl waith sydd yn digwydd yn ProMo," rhannodd aelod o'r tîm.

Cafwyd sawl gweithgaredd hwylus yn ystod y dydd:

🥂 Dathlu Marco: Cyfle i godi gwydraid a stwffio ein hwynebau â theisen i ddathlu Marco wrth iddo gamu i swydd newydd yn dilyn 27 mlynedd yn arwain. Roedd llawer o chwerthin (ac ambell ddeigryn) wrth wylio fideo yn dathlu'r holl flynyddoedd gyda nifer o atgofion hapus a negeseuon gan y tîm.

🎉 Croesawu ein harweinyddiaeth newydd: Croesawyd Arielle a Cindy yn swyddogol i'w swyddi newydd fel Prif Weithredwyr ar y Cyd

💪 Cydweithio Tîm: Cawsom weithgaredd creadigol yn edrych ar sut rydym yn cyfathrebu'r holl waith eang sydd yn digwydd yn ProMo yn allanol

It was brilliant to bring the ProMo Cymru team together last week for our all-staff day at the Ebbw Vale Institute (EVI)! As custodians and operators of EVI, it’s always wonderful to spend time in the space and see everything going on there.

One team member shared: "It was great to see everyone, catch up, and celebrate all the amazing work we do”

The day was filled with milestone moments for ProMo:

🥂 Celebrating Marco: We raised a glass (and had some cake) to celebrate Marco as he steps into a new position after 27 years as CEO. We watched a celebration video with photos and heartfelt messages from the team

🎉 Welcoming our new leadership: We officially welcomed Cindy and Arielle into their new positions as co-CEOs, as they lead ProMo into its next chapter

💪 Team collaboration: We also took some time to work together on a creative exercise exploring how we communicate the wide range of work we do to others

A huge thank you to everyone who made the day so special and contributed to the celebrations!

A new chapter for ProMo Cymru📖🧡

After 27 years leading ProMo Cymru, our Chief Executive Marco Gil-Cervantes is taking on a new role as Development Director.

What began as a small project supporting young people in South Cardiff to develop ideas in the cultural industries has grown into a national organisation working across Wales, with partnerships reaching across the UK and Europe and over 50 staff members.

Over nearly three decades, Marco has helped shape projects and initiatives that have made a lasting impact - from creative community spaces and cultural events, to developing Meic Cymru and helping save the Ebbw Vale Institute (and more!).

Throughout it all, ProMo’s focus has remained the same: supporting young people and communities through youth work principles, co-operative values, creativity, and collaboration. As Marco begins this next chapter, we want to recognise his leadership, vision, and commitment to building a culture that empowers both people and ideas to grow.

This transition feels like it’s been 27 years in the making – and I feel confident that with our new Co-CEOs, Arielle and Cindy, together with our amazing colleagues, we are ready for the future.”

(Scroll for English) Mae symud o ofal iechyd pediatrig i ofal iechyd oedolion yn garreg filltir arwyddocaol i bobl ifanc â diabetes! Ond nid rheoli gofal clinigol yn unig yw'r nod - mae'n ymwneud â llywio realiti tyfu i fyny: dysgu gyrru, cymdeithasu, a chael annibyniaeth.

Rydym yn falch o rannu ein gwaith gyda SEREN Connect, prosiect GIG Cymru a gynlluniwyd i helpu gyda'r trawsnewidiad yma fel ei fod yn haws, yn fwy perthnasol, ac yn llawer llai llethol i bobl ifanc.

Rydym wedi creu cyfres o fideos cyfryngau-cymysg dwyieithog sydd yn helpu pobl ifanc i deimlo'n hyderus a'u bod yn cael eu cefnogi yn y cam nesaf yma.

Gyda chyfres o weithdai cyd-gynllunio, roedd y bobl ifanc a'u teuluoedd yn arwain ar lunio'r cynnwys, dewis y dull animeiddio, ac yn rhannu eu profiadau bywyd ar gyfer y sgript.

Wrth roi adborth ar y fideos, dywedodd y cleient: “Rwy’n caru’r fideos, a ni allwn deimlo’n fwy balch o’r ymgysylltiad gan y bobl ifanc... Mae’r ffordd y mae eich tîm wedi’i wireddu yn wych.”

Moving from paediatric to adult healthcare is a significant milestone for young people with diabetes! But it’s not just about managing clinical care - it’s about navigating the realities of growing up: learning to drive, socialising, and finding independence.

We’re proud to share the work we’ve done on Seren Connect, an NHS Wales project designed to make this transition smoother, more relatable, and far less overwhelming for young people.

We’ve created a series of bilingual mixed-media videos designed to help young people feel confident and supported as they take this next step.

Through a series of co-design workshops, young people and their families took the lead in shaping the content, selecting the animation styles, and sharing their lived experiences to form the script.

When feeding back about the videos, our client shared: “I absolutely love them, and I couldn’t be more proud of the engagement we had with young people... The way your team has brought it to life is fantastic.”

We’re sharing some important findings from a recent national research project that looked into how mental health crisis services work for children and young people (CYP) 🔎

Meic was chosen as a case study, and the results highlight why accessible support matters so much!

What makes Meic work for young people?
✅ No waiting lists or formal referrals
✅ Choice of how to get in touch (text, online chat, WhatsApp message, or phone call)
✅ A safe, anonymous space to talk as often as needed

The research shows that by offering this kind of open-access support, Meic provides stability for CYP when things feel overwhelming. Meic acts as an early intervention service, helping CYP navigate the system and get help the moment they need it.

This aligns with the new 10-year mental health strategy for Wales, which aims to make same-day support a reality for everyone.

Dewiswyd Meic fel astudiaeth achos, ac mae'r canlyniadau’n amlygu pam bod cymorth hygyrch mor bwysig!

Pam bod Meic yn gweithio i bobl ifanc?
✅ Dim rhestr aros nac atgyfeiriad ffurfiol
✅ Dewis sut i gysylltu (tecst, sgwrs ar-lein, neges WhatsAp, neu alwad ffôn)
✅ Gofod diogel, dienw, i siarad mor aml ag sydd ei angen

Mae'r ymchwil yn dangos, wrth gynnig y math yma o gymorth mynediad agored, mae Meic yn cynnig sefydlogrwydd i’r PPI pan fydd pethau'n teimlo'n ormod. Mae Meic yn ymddwyn fel gwasanaeth ymyrraeth gynnar, yn helpu’r PPI i lywio'r system a chael y cymorth sydd ei angen ar yr amser cywir.

Mae hyn yn cydfynd â strategaeth iechyd meddwl 10 mlynedd newydd Cymru, sydd â'r nod o gynnig cymorth ar yr un diwrnod i bawb.

🔸Training & Digital Support: We've shared our expertise and knowledge to support 1,030 participants, providing 256 hours of digital support and training.

🔹Media: We've created digital content that makes a difference, including 16 video productions and animations - helping communities share their stories in ways that matter.

🔸Partnerships: We've delivered impact with 112 third and public sector organisations by sharing our skills in service design and digital youth work.

Yn ProMo Cymru, rydym yn cyfathrebu, cynllunio, ac adeiladu gyda phobl ifanc a chymunedau i gyflawni newid. Dyma gipolwg byr ar ein heffaith dros y flwyddyn ddiwethaf yn cyflwyno newid creadigol er lles cymdeithasol:

🔸Hyfforddiant a Chymorth Digidol: Rydym wedi rhannu ein harbenigedd a'n gwybodaeth i gefnogi 1,030 o gyfranogwyr, gan ddarparu 256 awr o gymorth a hyfforddiant digidol.
