Asbestos has been banned in the UK since 1999 - the risk is still there ⚠️

Some imported products from countries where asbestos is still legal continue to enter the UK. Some examples you should be be aware of:

🔩 Gaskets and seals
🏗️ Certain imported building materials
🧤 Some protective clothing and textiles
🚘 Brake pads and friction products from certain manufacturers

If you're unsure about any materials, don't assume they're safe. We suggest getting materials independently tested before use and ask suppliers for material safety data.

Meet Shuhel, our Operations Manager 👋

With over 20 years in the asbestos industry, Shuhel brings a wealth of expertise to our team.

From trainee surveyor all the way to Operations Manager. His career has spanned high-profile clients across government, defence and financial sectors in London, before returning to Wales where he's been a trusted part of UKAS-accredited consultancies for the past 25 years.

Shuhel holds a full suite of BOHS qualifications (P401–P405), is experienced in management surveys, refurbishment and demolition surveys, and four-stage clearance analysis. He has project managed asbestos removal works across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties.
