Can you relate to this Reddit post -
So my partner has been struggling with anxiety and depression for 2 years now. He struggled when he was a kid but it started again 2 years ago (we’ve been together 4 years). Honestly it makes it a hard at times. I’ve had to learn a lot and I’ve learned to be more patient. I have my days where I mess up and I accidentally get upset at him for something that’s not his fault but his mental healths doing. It’s made it a bit challenging to feel connected to him at times and I often feel lonely when he has episodes of stronger depression or anxiety. He has good days and bars and recently it’s been almost more good than bad but for the two years prior it was way more bad than good. So ya I felt really lonely at times, I felt like my life was paused a little but I still made sure to keep my priorities and still see friends and such when he couldn’t. I almost lost myself in the 6 months it was so bad that he quit his job and couldn’t leave the house. I fell behind on and neglected some things that were important at that time but it all worked out kinda. But at no point did I doubt our relationship or his love for me
