Hey pals! We're taking over Spit & Sawdust this Saturday for a FREE girls skate session! Why? Its summer, we're all a bit skint and just need an excuse to go for a roll. Its a ticketed event so head over to our link/stories to get one!

We've got an assisted beginners skate session 6-7pm, if you're ever fancied learning to skate and not sure where to start, or you've bought yourself a board and want a safe space to try it out for the first time, we've got you! We'll have coaches and helpers around to give you a hand for this hour. Need a board/pads/helmet? No problem! You can hire them at Spit and Sawdust!
Its £5 and its just so we can cover the support team :)

Then 7-9 we're gonna have a big old FREE skate for all girls of all abilities and forms of skating! We'll have the tunes going and the kitchen will be open for the best burgers in Cardiff, what more could you ask for? We need to keep check on numbers, so make sure you book yourself in for a free ticket.

So to recap:

12th August
Spit & Sawdust Cardiff
6-7pm Supported Beginners Session £5
7-9pm Free Open Skate

FAQ’s on the ticket link :)

Hey there! Its been a while hasn’t it? Its about time we met up for a little catch up, so we’re joining forces with our family on their Sisters Of Sawdust session for an International Womens Day special! Plenty of skating plus DJs and workshops too!

No need to book - just come along!

If you don’t want to skate but would like to pop over, the cafe will be open to all. Or if you’d like to help out, DM us as we’re in need of some volunteers to support workshops!

Hey everyone! Long time no speak!

Apologies for the silence, but it's been a funny old time with restrictions etc and the 'will they/won't they' issue of opening the world up, that we've been a little worried about doing IRL events until it was all sorted.

We've decided to do a little low key event this month to see how things go, we didn't want to go crazy as there are still restrictions in place and with everything going well we didn't want to mess that up. We also know some of you are still a little anxious about gathering so this a good one to ease yourself in.

So lets have a little skate on Saturday, catch up and have a drink, help a new pal out with their lockdown skateboard and plan some big old adventures this summer!

We turn 3 this month, but we've decided to wait til 24th July for a restriction-free party where we can all relax and hug each other

Happy International Women’s Day to all of the girls that make this skateboarding community special.
To all our friends who support us, encourage us, make space for us, help us and inspire us. This is a day to remind ourselves that we are stronger if we support each other, no matter who we are.
To all our pals across the UK creating space for women too, we’re so proud to be part of the scene.
I miss everyone in this photo so much you have no idea ❤️ roll on summer for skating and hugs

Happy New Year!!
The year might have changed, but for a lot of us the situation hasn’t, and we’re still in lockdown with skateparks closed or under snow ⛄️
We wanted to do something to keep everyone moving,
So we’ve partnered with our girl .healthwellness for a FREE class every Monday in January at 6pm on zoom. Come hang out with other skaters, stretch and strengthen as well as a little cardio 😉 No kit needed, just wear something comfy to move in and a bottle of water. All abilities and ages welcome, wherever you are tuning in from. Camera on or off, its cool, no pressure! Join us at 5.45 for a little hang out if you like too.
DM us for class link and we will see you this Monday!

Skaters of Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 we’re looking forward to being able to skate together from today!
We just want to remind you all that even though things are back to “normal” (COVID type normal) we’re still in the middle of a pandemic, so please keep an eye on safety notes from the parks- book ahead, make sure you wear your mask in public areas, sanitise when possible and keep your distance.
Yeah, it sucks to keep repeating things, but its the only way we can keep these spaces open if we play by the rules.
Stay safe pals!
