We love it when the Camac family pull together and help each other out. Huge thank you to Heather Downie Harpist for lending her beautiful Camac Harps Canopée to Veronika Lemishenko for her recording today with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra! Can’t wait to hear it!

We’ve never seen anyone take the covers of a harp so quickly Lauren Scott harp! So pleased to hear Brian is settling in well!

Meet Brian 👋 I don't normally name my harps, but when this beauty arrived Monday morning, I felt like my new Egerie deserved a name, and, don't judge me, but Brian is what was calling me! I've only been playing Brian for a few days, but I'm absolutely in love with the delicateness and clarity that he has. I thought I might find the pedals and the octave spacing a bit tricky coming from a Salvi, but it's been fine. I've still got my Iris that I'll be using for orchestral work, but I'm looking forward to using Brian for my solo work. Huge thankyou to for driving up from Cardiff at the crack of dawn on Monday to deliver him. How's that for incredible service?

Plus, I got a built in pick up put in, so its easy to plug and play straight into an amp!!!

✨ What’s better than one harp? Lots of harps! ✨

We had a wonderful time yesterday with Cheshire Harps in the afternoon and our Beginners group in the morning. Thank you everyone who came!

Our next event is going to be very special - our PlayDay on Sunday 14th June. All the harpists in the Cheshire Harp family will be coming together, including Cheshire Harp Youth run by Amy Turk, plus we’ll have guests from other harp groups across the North West.

Elen from Camac Harps will also be joining us with a trade stand! 🎶

If you’re a harpist and would like to join us, please comment below saying you’re interested and I’ll send you the venue and timing details.

Can’t wait to make music together! 🧡

It’s always impossible to put into words how you feel the day after a huge harp event. We’re exhausted but happy and have loved hearing how much fun people had over the weekend at the Cardiff Camac Harp Weekend. There were mesmerising concerts, new tunes and techniques learned and friendships made. A huge thank you to our artists: Catrin Finch, Corrina Dawn, Gwenllian Llyr, Tara Minton, Tsvetelina Likova - Harpist /and Veronika Lemishenko. Thanks to Tim Creighton Griffiths for running the music stand, Heather Downie Harpist and Paul Vining for looking after the harp exhibition, Mark Wild for taking so many fab photos, Guillaume and Thomas for all the harps serviced (a massive 47 in total!), to Jakez Francois, Alexander Rider and Camac Harps for their support and to Team Vining for a mammoth effort. Until next time, diolch!
