NEW PROJECT ALERT 🚨

We’ve recently commenced work on site at HMP Northumberland for our long-standing client, Kier Construction.

As a leading national decorating specialist within the Justice and broader Critical Infrastructure sector, this significant prison expansion scheme will call on our depth of expertise from previous prison projects to once again deliver the highest quality finishes, safely, efficiently and to programme.

A skilled team of qualified painters and decorators have been deployed on site, supported by our highly experienced operational management to ensure the seamless ex*****on of the package of work, comprising four new houseblocks, communal areas and ancillary areas.

They've DONE IT!!!!
💪 From the heavy rain and winds on Thursday to the blistering heat on Sunday, our Managing Director, Rob has ridden through all four seasons of weather to complete his latest fundraising challenge alongside Mileys Black Cats

🚲 266-miles from Allonby on the West coast of Cumbria to Tynemouth on the Eastern coast of Tyne and Wear....AND BACK AGAIN!! Four long days in the saddle, lots of incline, many mechanical problems but lots of determination - a big thanks to all the support crew!!

💚 Each year Rob and a small group of hardy souls take on various challenges to raise funds to support sick children and their families throughout Cumbria and the North East.

🙏This brilliant cause means a great deal to the Story family and they would be hugely appreciative of any donations from our friends in business.

This morning, our MD Rob and the determined Mileys Black Cats crew set off from a very wet and windy Allonby, as they embark on yet another EPIC cycling challenge for a great cause!!

🚴🏻 Over the next few days, they will be cycling the C2C2C2 (Coast to Coast to Coast) a 226-mile ride from Allonby, West Cumbria to Tynemouth in the North East and back again!!!

💚 Each year the group take on various challenges to raise funds to support sick children and their families throughout Cumbria and the North East.

✅ Project complete for Sky Group in Glasgow

The last episode of this epic office fit-out programme has come to an end! It's been a super project to work on alongside the team at Sharkey (hopefully we'll make the closing credits! 🤞😄 )

Our Scotland team completed a full internal decoration of two levels of office space, starting with over 1300m2 of specialist Ames Taping to new partitions and ceiling margins in preparation for mist coating.

Our skilled decorators then applied a range of ultra-durable Dulux products including a couple of bold feature colours to all internal walls, bulkheads, ceilings and woodwork.

The fit-out has completely transformed the space, creating a range of bright, modern and functional open plan office spaces and meeting rooms, as well as a full catering kitchen, welfare facilities and plant rooms/ BOH areas.

A real triumph, well done to all involved 👏

We're thrilled to be bringing home a rather beautiful trophy as the ✨WINNERS✨ of the Johnstone's Trade Paints Painter of the Year Awards 2025 - Stadium Hospitality category for our work on Everton Football Club

Arguably the UK's most high-profile new stadium development, this was a once-in-a-lifetime project to be part of!

Our team were entrusted to deliver a highly complex and demanding decoration package spanning both the core infrastructure and the premium hospitality spaces - and deliver they did!!! 👌

This award is testament to the hard work, professionalism and commitment of all involved - thankyou! 🙏

This month, our Managing Director Rob will be taking on yet another incredible cycling challenge with in memory of 10 year old, Miley Todd who lost her life in 2018.

💚 Each year the group take on various challenges to raise funds to support sick children and their families throughout Cumbria and the North East.

🚵‍♂️Miley's Black Cat's took on the gruelling 66-mile Etape Loch Ness cycle challenge last month and on the 21st May, they will embark upon the Black Cat's C2C2C2 (Coast to Coast to Coast) a 226-mile ride from Allonby, West Cumbria to Tynemouth in the North East and back again!!!
