Not many updates recently but have been plenty busy. Hallway redecoration including building an over stairs cupboard with custom door and a new loft hatch. Also lots of smaller jobs including repairing a set of 1960's 'supataps', and various other things including prepping AirBnb's for the holiday season and lots of pressure washing.

First big job of 2026 completed. Full kitchen refit. Stripped out the old units and tiles, new units and plumbing, full redecoration and new tiles.

Have been fitting in small jobs around it. My phone has been busy so I am doing my best to try and keep up!

Snow day in early January meant I had the apprentice with me to strip the old tiles!

Some before and afters of a recent large decorating job. Walls and ceilings were no problem here, but turning all of the woodwork from stained pine to white eggshell was quite a job! Had to call in some reinforcements from Matt Paints. Few other tasks completed including curtain rails and swapping light fittings.

A challenging utility room renovation, working around some significant historical water damage. The room was re-plumbed including a new stop c**k, hygiene boards installed on the damaged wall, tiles painted to match quarry tile floor, kitchen unit carcasses replaced and old doors/sink/worktop reinstalled, and the. A general redecoration. Some head scratching in places but we got there.

A few days spent repairing split ceilings and redecorating a large kitchen and large lounge. Movement in the ceiling plasterboard had caused cracking all over both rooms. Boards were refixed, cracks filled and then both rooms prepped and redecorated. Onto the hallway next!
