We are a wellness centre, located in the heart of Carmarthen town that has evolved over the last few years to become a vibrant grass roots community hub, focused on providing courses, workshops, events and sessions aimed at wellbeing, healing and learning. Nurture now facilitates a diverse range of classes and events ranging from yoga, tai chi, pilates and sound healing to counselling, hypnotherap
y, reiki, reflexology, massage and more. We are an umbrella of all things well being. We also welcome the community to use our inside space as a hub for meeting and sharing, a place to just 'be'. Among the many plants and paintings is a tea and coffee donation station, if you can't afford it just have one on us. We have a comfy little nook and a small library. Pop in to feel good, take a break from reality or for a chat. Nurture is student friendly! Bring your sketchbook or laptop and use our space to study! Accessibility:
Our centre is conveniently situated on ground level, ensuring full wheelchair access and ease of entry for individuals with mobility challenges. We firmly believe that everyone should have equal opportunities, and our facilities reflect our commitment to inclusivity. One of the standout features of our centre is the beautiful communal outdoor space we call the Secret Garden. This peaceful and welcoming area provides a serene environment for everyone, and can be an ideal space for outdoor events and workshops. With accessible entrances leading from St. Peter's car park, there is full wheelchair access with nearby parking. Nurture is a fully inclusive space for all. In A Nutshell:

The aims of Nurture Magu CIC are to increase the Wellbeing of our community. A group of local mums started the idea of Nurture centre 7 years ago when they felt they had nowhere to go with their small children that was safe and clean and nice to be in. They wanted a place where they could go to courses and events and also somewhere where they could signpost to other services, like mental health support. In 2018 after running from the upstairs of a wholefood shop, we found the premises that we are in now. Its such a great location, central, next to parking, walkable from public transport & fully accessible. Everything that was done to open the centre, including redecorating, gardening, painting, cleaning, signs, plants was completed by a team of volunteers and from donations to the 'Open our doors' campaign. We had a very successful first few years; some how made it through having to be closed for almost a year during Covid. During this time we moved classes online and opened up the garden for social distanced groups to meet outside. At first the garden space was used by local business as a pop up cafe and then once the centre reopened we heard from customers that they would like us to try to keep the cafe open so ' The secret garden' was born! Nurture Magu CIC was set up in 2018 to improve the wellbeing of our community. It is a not for profit Grassroots organisation.
