We are recruiting for a Yard man and forklift driver.
We are looking for a yard man with a mature work ethic and enthusiastic approach to work. You must be honest and trustworthy with a smart and professional appearance. You will need to be a confident driver with a full driving licence and forklift truck licence, a HGV licence would be a real advantage but not essential.
The yard hours are 7am till 6 pm Monday to Fridays and Saturdays 8am till 12pm
The duties will include keeping our busy yard tidy and clean, loading and unloading delivery vehicles with rolling stock and pallets, banding pallets for collection and moving stock in the yard.

HM14-860KL mounted on the 530 HP Mercedes Benz Arocs 6x6.

Almost the last sale of 2019 was this Heizohack chip truck to Raddery Sawmill in Ross-Shire.
This truck is fitted with our in house full bearing and belt slip remote monitoring system.
The engine will not be on full power until it has around 300hrs but it chipped well with very good chip quality. The belts are still bedding in here so there is a bit more through put to come yet. Knowing Mercedes really helps when getting these chip trucks running right.

We are very busy in the workshop right now preparing Heizohack woodchippers for our stand at the APF Show this year. Some of these chippers are already sold but we also have some available to buy. Here we have the latest purpose built Heizohack HM10-500KTL Chipper for J.H Ireland, Ayrshire. The customer wanted a full floating tandem axle group, which has far superior road holding and reduced wear on tyres. He also wanted a longer than usual drawbar so that he can add a splitter at a later date. Supplied now with 385/55 x R22.5” road wheel and tyres, the machine and mudguards are designed and built so that he can also fit the much larger 560/45 x R22.5 Wheels and tyres when needed. For those of you in the area around Ayrshire I’m sure you will see this distinctive set-up out and about.
