Four Eyed Giraffe wouldn’t exist without books and authors and August commemorates the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

This festival runs from 12th-28th August and it allows us readers to connect with writers. The fact that this event is on my doorstep makes me feel pride towards Scotlands intellectual history.

So, let’s talk about books! What is your favourite book? Or what book changed your perspective about something?

My favourite book series is The Thursday Murder Club because it has the perfect combination of intense mystery and light hearted humour.

A book series that changed my reading experience is Lord of the Rings. I read a lot of fantasy growing up but, as I got older, I lost interest in the genre. But after reading Lord of the Rings, I have been reunited with fantasy.

Today is National Lazy Day and, like a lot of people, I love relaxing by watching YouTube or listening to podcasts.

Regardless of your books format, Four Eyed Giraffe can edit your book at any stage, from the first few chapters to a completed book.

Four Eyed Giraffe can also help you transform your book so it is ready to become an audiobook. Audiobooks have become one of the most popular ways to read a book in the last decade, and it’s connivence of reading on the go is very appealing for us bookworms.

For the extras, you can choose between book proposal editing or story plan editing. These elements can be vital for an author to get noticed by a publisher, if they are aiming to take the next step. Also, a great story plan can be the solution to help you transform your story.

Our publishing packages are priced according to the amount of work you need:

The Basic package is perfect for short edits which includes short story edits, sample book edits and book proposal edit.

The Standard package consists of editing for novellas, beginning of novel (first half) and story plan editing.

Finally, Four Eyed Giraffes premium package includes a complete novel edit or an epic novel edit.
