🌿 FULL-TIME GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE WANTED 🌿

Greenwood Ground Maintenance Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

We carry out high-quality grounds maintenance, landscaping and tree work across Lancashire, working on large private properties, estates, commercial sites and other maintained grounds.

The role will include:

• Ride-on and pedestrian mowing
• Strimming and edging
• Hedge cutting and pruning
• Tree work and vegetation clearance
• Lawn care and renovation
• General grounds maintenance
• Planting and seasonal work
• Landscaping and improvement projects
• Digger and dumper work
• Operating a range of professional machinery and equipment

Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping or tree work would be preferred. Experience operating diggers, dumpers or other machinery would be a big advantage.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work well as part of a team and is happy working outdoors in all conditions.

Full-time position
Monday–Friday
Garstang / Preston and surrounding areas
Good rate of pay depending on experience
Opportunity to progress as the business continues to grow

A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Garden and Lake Transformation!
Lawns were fully drained, rotavated, levelled and reseeded to create a smooth and healthy finish. Along the lakeside, overgrown reeds, shrubs and trees were removed, with all root systems excavated to prevent regrowth, restoring the original clean grass edge. To enhance the setting further, a natural rockery feature was added, creating both structure and visual interest around the lake.

We are expanding and looking to take on a motivated individual to join our team of 3.

Position: Part-Time or Full-Time (employed or self-employed)

Requirements:
• Physically fit and hard-working
• Experience in hedge trimming, grass cutting, and general grounds maintenance
• Confident using machinery and power tools (including chainsaws)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Experience operating diggers and dumpers (advantageous)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
