I’m so grateful for the wonderful clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with this last year.

I wanted to share that:

✨ I will not be taking on any new clients until 2026.
To my current clients, please be assured you will not be affected by this – everything continues as normal for you.

✨ From 5th October, my website will be temporarily unavailable.

✨ In the meantime, any correspondence can be sent directly to [email protected]

This decision allows me to give my full attention to the amazing people I already support and ensure they receive the best possible service.

I’ll be excited to connect with new clients again in 2026. 💕

With the weather being very unpredictable in North Yorkshire at the moment I decided to make the most of the dry warm morning by walking the dog before work. It was lovely to see all the birds, smile at the few friendly faces on route and enjoy the peace and quiet alone with Freya🐾.

I'm now back at my desk and getting stuck in to my to-do list.

👉 Cloud storage is ideal, a secondary source could also be useful (tech can fail)

👉 Keep consistency
👉 Keep you sane 😅

✨ Having an organised calendar is a MUST!

👉 Enter every appointment, invoice date, client review, employee review and any other important date you need to remember
👉 Set reminders (multiple if you need them)
👉 Colour code them - home/personal, business, to do etc.
👉 Don't overcomplicate it. Make it usable, manageable and sustainable.

Your future self will thank you, and so will your customers.

If you feel overwhelmed by your inbox, know you're not alone. This is quite common as a small business owner you have every function to think about. However, these tips may help.
👉 Unsubscribe from and delete all junk emails
👉 Use folders and/or labels to organise and group relevant emails together
👉 Check your emails at set times - allowing specific time to focus and take any required action
👉 Set up template emails for repeat replies to save time

This week I will be doing a mini self-help series of how to keep on top of your business housekeeping.

✨ Tip 1 /5 - file and folder sorting

👉 Set aside 15 minutes each week to sort through your digital files or digitise paper files you may have.
👉 Ensure files have appropriate names which reflect what they are. For example "invoice1234" or "business_insurance_2025".
👉 Keep folders clear with a logical structure.
👉 Archive completed projects and no longer required documents (GDPR compliant of course).

Do not use your desktop as a dumping ground.
Is it time for a mini spring clean for your computer?
Set a 15 minute timer and off you go ⏱
