We had a roadtrip up to Treeline Woodlands Ltd for their open day. We had a great time catching up with everyone and having a play on the Malwa 980 Harvester.
Oh and the burgers were lovely! 🍔

We've had a fantastic weekend at the RWAS Tree Felling Competition. Huge congratulations to Dewi Williams for winning this year's event for the second year in a row and for the 6th time overall. And we're very proud of our own Ben Jones for once again winning the under 24 class.
Now the moment you've all been waiting for was the in house competition between Little Ben and Big Ben...........
There was a fair prize on the line and the winner was Little Ben by a very fine margin of 11 points.
Thank you to all involved it was a fantastic weekend.

🌳 Assisted fell on a split beech using the Fastrac and Uniforest winch to keep everything controlled and safe.
When timber’s under tension and starting to split, it’s a job that needs proper planning and the right kit.

Meet Mildred the Mulcher.

We’ve spent a couple of days out of the woods to get to know our new machine.

She’s an LV600 Green Climber fixed tooth mulcher built to work where other machines struggle. Ideal for new plantations, restock sites, heather, bracken and bramble control, gorse and scrub management, fire breaks, fire track maintenance, and clearing regeneration ahead of planting.

With low ground pressure, excellent stability and serious cutting power, she’s well suited to steep, rough and sensitive sites, delivering fast, controlled vegetation management without unnecessary disturbance.
