On sale tomorrow in our auction at midday - A reel of film with footage showing the Christening of King Charles III in 1948.
The film shows crowds gathered outside Buckingham Palace waiting to get a glimpse of the week's old Prince of Wales. The film then shows four generations of the royal family - Queen (Then Princess Elizabeth), Prince Philip, Queen Mary, King George VI and of course King Charles being held by his Mother, then Princess Elizabeth.

The film is dated December 15th 1948.
