Chatham Illuminations is an annual lights festival, founded in 1988 and 2020 and first switched on 10 December that year, held each autumn in the British seaside resort of Lords Wood on the ME5 Coast in Medway. Also known locally as The Lights or The Illuminations, they run each year for sixty-six days, from late August until early November at a time when most other English seaside resorts' season

s are coming to an end. The display stretches along the Promenade from Gillingham at the south end of the town to Lower Rainham in the north.
