More visitors means more energy use, more waste and more pressure on every part of the operation. And most clubs are absorbing those extra costs on supplier contracts that were never set up with any real negotiating power behind them. ⛳

And we are seeing this consistently across the sector:
⚡ Tillicoultry Golf Club: £360.33 saved on energy
🚿 St Martins Bowling Club: £414.16 saved on waste and washroom

In every case, the savings came from reviewing long-standing agreements and realigning them with current market rates.

At Shooters Hill Golf Club, an electricity review delivered £25,770.69 in savings, alongside £936.99 on water and a new gas contract. Royal St. George's Golf Club reduced water costs by £5,287.68. Carmarthen Golf Club & Driving Range saved £3,429.93 on electricity, while Solihull Tennis Club saved £2,241.66.

Clubs of all sizes are seeing the benefit.

Strathaven Bowling Club saved £834.08 on waste, Seafield Bowling Club £250.12, and Thankerton Bowling Club £213.40 ♻️.

Hamilton Gymnastics Club reduced washroom costs by £160.80 and waste by £338.00, improving efficiency behind the scenes.

And it’s not always about cutting costs.

Barnsley Gymnastics Club upgraded to a new bean to cup coffee machine, enhancing the experience for members and visitors ☕

In total, £39,463.35 saved in a short period, without disruption, just better decisions and smarter supplier reviews 📉
