As we rapidly approach the Christmas break and the dawn of a new year, I'm grateful to be reflecting on an incredible year of growth, achievements and personal development.

Since the creation of HR Suite in May 2022, I've managed to grow the business organically and successfully establish its brand while balancing a new life as a full-time single mum, a house move involving a complete redecoration, supporting the wellbeing of my children and meeting almost the entire share of the family commitments. Turning an extremely challenging year into a positive, I'm excited to announce the launch of my second company...

Our approach involves personalised consultations and continuous support with actionable insights and detailed steps designed to drive businesses forward.

Yesterday, Graham Broughton and I hosted a fantastic workshop focused on Business Growth and HR Planning on behalf of The Consortium for Let's Do Business Group

Through engaging case studies, participants explored effective strategies to scale their businesses. We also had a thoughtful discussion about the importance of work placements in supporting the younger generation's entry into the workforce.

My key takeaway? Integrating HR planning into your growth journey leads to a more efficient and cost-effective path to success!

T Levels and the Work Placement Legacy: Here's Why It Matters

T Levels may be politically delicate, but the value of work placements and mentoring for young people remains undeniable. Remember the Youth Training Scheme (YTS) of the 80s? HR Suite's industry placement programme models that same principle.

At its core, it's about giving young people the chance to learn from experienced professionals and develop the skills employers crave. That's a recipe for success, no matter the political climate. After all, if you haven't got Gen Z represented in your workforce, how will you know your customers of tomorrow?

I believe it's incumbent on all businesses to support the younger generation and demonstrate corporate social responsibility, which ultimately benefits the UK economy as a whole.
