Email management: Practice the '4 Ds'
An overload of emails can cause you a lot of stress at work. Therefore when you open an email for the first time, what you decide to do with it could help you improve your time management.
📧 Delete: you can probably delete half the emails you get immediately. Most of these may be junk, or they might just be an FYI email and actually have no actions for you to complete.
📧 Do: if the email is urgent or can be completed quickly.
📧 Delegate: if the email can be better dealt with by someone else.
📧 Defer: put to one side for now and set aside time later to spend on the email actions that may take a little longer to complete.
