Many of our vocal students suffer from colds and vocal complaints at this time of year and often ask for vocal remedies to help fix their various ailments. This helpful video will give you information on various remedies to help you on the road to recovery as quickly as possible. It is important to note that if your vocal problems persist you must consult your doctor, as medical assistance may be required.
Everybody’s voice is different, some people are fortunate and have a very fit and healthy voice and some people are not so lucky and seem to always have vocal issues. Diagnosing what is going on can be very simple but can also be a complicated issue, the best way to find out is to come and see our vocal coach, Katy Jackson. Katy will inform you on whether the problems you are having are due to a poor vocal care routine, poor vocal technique or the possibility of there being an underlying problem which needs to be looked into by an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) doctor.
Vocal students at YouStar usually begin with some vocal technique issues. But with proper guidance from our vocal coach, they are easily corrected and can fix their long term vocal ailments. Others have been fixed by cutting out food types such as dairy, which have been known to cause various problems.
If you feel you have any vocal problems that are concerning you, please feel free to drop us an email for some advice or to book an appointment or vocal lesson with coach, Katy Jackson.
