The 7 Biggest Mistakes We See Buyers Make When Ordering Branded Uniforms.
1️⃣ Chasing the lowest price
Cheap uniforms can fade or fall apart quickly, and embroidery files can vary hugely in quality. In the end, you pay more to replace them. We will only recommend 'fit for purpose' garments, even if the cost is higher. You may get a better price elsewhere, but the savings will be in the quality.
2️⃣ Ordering the wrong quantities
Too few = You miss out on bulk discounts achievable when manufacturing in larger quantities, and may need to pay set-up fees again. Too many = cash tied up in stock you don’t need. Often, the case when customers try to get bulk discounts, creating a false economy. We can make quantity recommendations for teams based on our industry experience and supply frequent top-ups as required.
3️⃣ Choosing the wrong branding method
Not every logo works in embroidery or print. The wrong choice can mean poor results. Let us advise you, we do know what we are talking about ;-)
4️⃣ Ignoring staff comfort & fit
If uniforms don’t feel good, employees won’t wear them proudly. Tell us what you need your uniforms to do, and we can make recommendations for your team.
5️⃣ Asking us to use poor-quality graphic files
Colours, fonts, and logos can look inconsistent without high-quality graphics. That’s why it’s worth investing in having your logo vectorised. It’s cost-effective, ensures your branding always looks sharp, and you can reuse the file too.
