The proposal, considered under Policy HO11 (formerly Paragraph 84), required careful consideration of a range of complex issues, including design quality, ecology, woodland management and lighting. Policy HO11 is the Governmentโs grand design exceptions policy, and allows development as an exception to normal policy where it displays both truly โoutstandingโ and innovativeโ design, that helps to raise the design standards of an area.
Working alongside Alexander Wright, we provided planning support at a key stage, helping to navigate the remaining challenges and bring the project over the line.
