The coffee of COP17 is a coffee for the workplace too. ☕

COP17, the UN Biodiversity Conference, is on this week in Yerevan, Armenia (19 to 30 October), with governments and organisations from around the world meeting to agree action for nature. Puro is being served across the green zone, the blue zone and the urban biodiversity area.

Puro’s new project in Armenia becomes its 30th nature reserve, protecting 3,000 hectares for endangered wildlife like the Persian Leopard. 🐆

Hot take: the office coffee round is one of the most underrated parts of workplace culture. ☕

Hear us out.

It’s not really about the coffee. It’s the two minutes when someone leaves their desk, heads to the kitchen and asks seven colleagues what they’d like. A check-in disguised as a caffeine run. It’s how people from opposite sides of the office end up chatting, and a small ritual that says “we’re a team, not just people who happen to share a building.”

With hybrid working, these moments are rarer. When half the team is remote on any given day, the spontaneous kitchen catch-up doesn’t happen by default anymore. So when the coffee round does happen, it matters more, not less.

Does your office still do the coffee round, or has hybrid working changed that? Tell us in the comments 👇

☕🌍 Great coffee. A greener planet.

At Office Coffee, we’re proud to supply Puro Fairtrade Coffee, a brand that believes great coffee should make a positive difference to the world.

Puro has been featured in the World Land Trust Impact Report 2025, celebrating over 20 years of partnership and dedication to protecting our planet’s precious rainforests and wildlife.

🌿 Nearly 100,000 hectares of threatened rainforest protected
🌿 28 Puro nature reserves across 17 countries
🌿 An estimated 10 million tonnes of CO₂ stored in these forests
🌿 Approximately 60,000 trees protected
🌿 503 vulnerable and endangered species now living within these reserves

We’re delighted to offer our customers coffee that not only tastes fantastic but also helps support vital conservation efforts.

Every cup of Puro Coffee is part of a bigger story. ☕💚

What makes a good workplace coffee?

It needs to do more than make a great first impression. It needs to deliver consistently — from the first cup of the morning to the afternoon coffee run.

Puro is one of the coffees we’re proud to supply because it combines quality, versatility and strong credentials in a range designed for professional environments.

Because when coffee is enjoyed throughout the working day, choosing the right one matters.

When you choose an office coffee machine, you’re also choosing the service that comes with it. ☕️

For us, that means being there long after your machine has been installed.

Our engineers take care of routine servicing and preventative maintenance, as well as responding when something needs attention, helping to keep your machine performing consistently and reliably.

It’s one less thing for your office or facilities team to worry about, and an important part of the service we provide.

If you’re reviewing your workplace coffee or feel you could be getting more support from your current supplier, get in touch for a chat.

Matcha Flow by Blendsmiths has been flowing through Office Coffee Co. for a few months now, and it’s proving there’s plenty of room for something different alongside a great cup of coffee. 🍵

With its subtly sweet, umami flavour and smooth caffeine lift, Matcha Flow offers teams an alternative for those moments when coffee isn’t quite what they’re looking for.

Even better, it works through our coffee machines, so businesses can add matcha to their workplace drinks offering without compromising on the coffee their teams already know and love.

IT’S TIME TO FLOW ON OVER TO THE GOOD STUFF.

Fancy bringing Matcha Flow into your workplace? Book a tasting with Office Coffee Co. and give it a try.
