Our Sample Box went out to buyers across the UK at the start of the month, giving them a fresh line-up of supplier products to try directly. Feedback has been excellent.

For suppliers, the Sample Box remains one of the most direct ways to put products in front of buyers, distributed through our member depots. If you'd like your products included in a future box, speak to Amy Thomas.

Touring the site offered a clear view of their operation, notably an exceptionally well-kept warehouse and strong stock levels across the CHEF Approved range. Thompsons continues to post impressive growth, and meeting their team makes it easy to see why.

Our Buzz Stop at Delifresh gave their team a chance to get hands-on with our CHEF Approved own brand range. Tabitha oversaw the proceedings, Richard walked through the products, while Cez and Nicola were busy in the kitchen.

The session covered a solid cross-section of the range, from Japanese Style Panko Breadcrumbs and Frozen Doughballs to French Fries, Butter Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Tortilla Wraps, Cordials, Sauces and Cooking Wines.

Getting products in front of members, cooked and sampled, is what a Buzz Stop is for.

Thank you to everyone at Delifresh for the opportunity and for making their facility available to us and a special thanks to Gavin Beedham, Stuart Mills and Gerard Morgan for organising.

What a fantastic sampling session at Delifresh with Pacific West! Tabitha took the team over to experience the Pacific West breaded seafood range brought to life in Delifresh's state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, and it went down a treat.

Visits like this are a great way to explore new categories and product ranges for our membership, and this one did not disappoint. A big thank you to Gavin Beedham for the wonderful hospitality and to Andrew Dawson for a truly delicious spread of seafood.

Our Scottish 🚌 Buzz Stop 🚌 took us up to Dumfries to visit the team at Thomsons Foodservice. A great trip from start to finish, beginning with a lovely dinner out courtesy of Michael the evening before.

The next day Richard and Cez showcased a variety of CHEF Approved products including cheesecakes, the bread range and CORE Refreshments. There was a great turnout from Michael, Jackie, Shania and Angela, as well as members of the warehouse team who came along to sample the products and find out more about the range.

A big thank you to everyone at Thomsons Foodservice for making us feel so welcome!
