Its international Tea Day and we asked our host Simon Edmondson what his favourite is?

He always starts the day with a Lemon and Ginger always in the same mug. Why the seagull? He said it was a story which stretches back many years and over many continents and to ask him when you see him next!

So what is your favourite tipple now we have so much to choose from?

Could it be a Spiced Apple, Fruit Burst or the more traditional Earl Grey or just a good old mug of builders?

We are looking forward to a new venue for The Business Network Chester on 14th May hosted by Simon Edmondson and Win Edmondson

We are at Mercure Hotels for our next meeting. @mercurechesterabbotswell

We will have a pre lunch talk from of who may mention winning the Premiership but will be mainly speaking about a lead generating machine without using AI.

After lunch it will be Ian Hazeldine of speaking so a very digital focussed meeting which is sponsored by Angela McLoughlin BEng MBCS.

We are so proud to announce that our host Simon Edmondson has been selected to become the next regional chair of the North West for Federation of Small Businesses - FSB

Simon says it was a great honour to have been offered the role and is looking forward to supporting the 1,000s of members located in the North West during his term and the fantastic work the staff who work tirelessly in the area for the SME community.

Terrific is specific!

Its a phrase from another networking group and it is true.

Having a 1-2-1 with a member of The Business Network Chester the other day and he mentioned two names of businesses which I had contacts to both and was quite happy to refer him.

Will it lead to business? We don't know yet but he is in via a side door rather than having to knock on the front door without an invitation.

So next time you are speaking at a networking group say a name you wish to work with.

You don't know who knows who in the room and never discount anyone.
