“But what could I actually offer as a VA?”

I hear this a lot, and very often the answer is: more than you think.

Organising diaries, dealing with customers, managing projects, doing research, keeping on top of emails, putting presentations together - these are all skills businesses pay VAs for.

You don’t need to be able to do everything.

Part of setting up a VA business is working out what you’re good at, what you enjoy and where those skills could be useful to a client.

That’s a big part of what I’ve been working on behind the scenes recently.

I’ve been running my own Virtual Assistant business for over 20 years, and the job has changed a lot in that time.

The latest change, of course, is AI.

I don’t think it’s something VAs can ignore. You don’t need to become an AI expert, but knowing how to use it sensibly can help you work more efficiently and give clients a better service.
