As part of National Apprenticeship Week, we’re highlighting the journey of Dylan Davenport and the opportunities that apprenticeships at Capabilities Beyond Engineering can provide.
Dylan began at CBE+ as a CNC Machining Apprentice after realising that classroom-based learning wasn’t the right fit for him. He moved into the Assembly team, completing his Level 3 in Mechanical Manufacture and an HNC, gaining both hands-on experience and managerial knowledge along the way.
Today, Dylan runs the Assembly department, coordinating his team, overseeing processes, and ensuring quality standards are met. He is the first point of contact for customers and plays a vital role in keeping projects on track.
His experience demonstrates how CBE+ apprenticeships equip individuals with the skills, responsibility and confidence to progress into leadership roles within the business.
