A huge 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to our Maintenance and operations engineering technician (MOET) Apprentice, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘁, on successfully passing his apprenticeship! 👏🎉

This is a 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and a true reflection of Charlie's 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 throughout his apprenticeship journey. Completing an apprenticeship is no small feat, and Charlie should be incredibly proud of everything he has accomplished.

This month we say farewell to a true legend of our 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 as 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 begins his well-earned retirement.

For over a decade, Dave has been an 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 of our Butt Fusion department, carrying out 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 of welds with exceptional skill, precision, and dedication. His 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 to quality have helped shape countless projects and have set a standard for those who have worked alongside him.

More than just his 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰, Dave has been a valued colleague and friend who will be 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 by everyone at the company.

While picking a customer order from our stock yard today, our team discovered this beautiful owl taking a well-earned rest inside one of our PE100 sewer pipes.

Being based in the heart of the 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁, we're lucky enough to work alongside some incredible wildlife. Moments like these are a wonderful reminder that 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 can happily coexist when we respect the environment around us.

Our feathered visitor was 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗱 until it was ready to continue its journey, and we're grateful to have been able to capture this great picture.

We’ve just supplied 𝟮𝟰 of our new 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 adaptors (560mm x DN500 SDR17) for a major network project. By enabling the customer to downsize from a DN600 to a DN500 gate valve while maintaining full pipe bore, we helped them 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 off their total project spend.
