Thank you, and Goodbye!
Well what a ride that's been.
So I've been a little quiet recently on facebook and instagram because huge changes have been happening behind the scenes. On 31/12/2019, the wedding of the amazing and incredibly lovely Kim and Ed signalled my last ever wedding (*probably). Pete Henderson Photography is closing it's doors. I've loved running this business and working with you all, but with a young family the anti social hours were becoming less enjoyable.
It's been such an incredle honour and joy to spend the best part of the last decade photographing the weddings of incredible people. For me, it was always about the people. That's what made this so much fun; the laughter, the tears, the emotion, the connections between people that I got to witness week after week.
I couldn't leave without saying a heart felt 'thank you' to each and every one of you that trusted me to be there on your wedding day to capture one of the most emotional and important days of your lives.
I will forever appreciate the trust that you placed in me, and hope that in return I was able to provide the photographs that being back special memories for you.
I often wonder what all the couple's I photographed are up to now. If you're reading this and I photographed your wedding I'd love to hear from you in the comments (or via message if you'd prefer). Let me know what you're up to, and maybe even post a photo of you guys now!
(*I can't bring myself to close the website and social pages yet...maybe I'll photograph the odd wedding in the future but it's certainly the end of regular work and active promotion)
