Just a word of warning to anyone who uses highfield park.

Several used needles have been found in the trees at the top of the park and one in a can on the grass area.

Our dog was alerted by the smell to it and my son picked up the cannot realising there was a used syringe with a needle and still residue inside.

Please share with friends and family and be careful, police have been notified and I have alerted the council online and will be contacting them in the morning.
