🐪 Happy Hump Day from HomeShred! 🐪

It’s been a while since we’ve said that—but wow, what a busy start to the year! And can you believe it’s March on Saturday?! Time is flying, and so are our shredding sacks out the door!

🚛 Exciting news! Dan is currently training up a new driver, which means even faster collections for you. Another pair of hands (and wheels!) to keep your confidential documents safe, secure, and shredded in no time.

📞 The office has been buzzing with calls from new customers needing our help and so many returning customers—we love catching up with you all! Meanwhile, over in the warehouse, Nathan is still on a mission to beat his personal best for the number of sacks shredded in a day. (Will he do it? Stay tuned! 😂)

🚫 NO, THANK YOU!
❌ Plastic wallets & folders – these can’t be recycled with paper! BUT if you have a lot of paperwork in plastic wallets, we can take them for a small extra charge, as our team will need to separate them.

💿 WHAT ABOUT PHOTOS, FLOPPY DISCS & CREDIT CARDS?
Yes, we can securely destroy them! However, these items need to go through a separate machine and recycling process, so there’s a small extra charge. Just pop them in a separate bag, and we’ll handle the rest!

📣 Where has Monday gone?! Is it really Tuesday already? 🤯

It’s been a whirlwind start to the week here at HomeShred HQ! Last week, we said a fond farewell to our driver Paul, who’s off to pastures new. We’ll miss him loads (and we know our customers will too!), but we’re wishing him all the best in his exciting new venture! Todays photo had to be of Paul 🛻💨 Don’t worry, though—stay tuned for a new team member announcement coming soon! 👀

January has been non-stop for us, but busy is how we like it! That said, we’re definitely dreaming of some warmer weather—bring on spring, right?! 🌸☀️

For those decluttering and loving our Eco Shred Sacks, here’s a little reminder:

🎉 Happy Fri-yay from the HomeShred Team! 🎉

We made it, folks—another busy week in the bag (or should we say sack?). It’s been non-stop for us, with bale collections and drop-offs from Devon to Scotland—we’ve been shredding across the nation! 🌍✂️

A big shoutout to Nathan, who battled the wind and rain this week during a tricky bale collection and absolutely smashed it (both literally and figuratively). 💪💨 And we’re thrilled to have Clare and J***y back in the office after their well-deserved holiday—it just wasn’t the same without them!

We’ve spoken to so many of you lovely customers this week, all eager to declutter with our Eco Shred Sacks—turning New Year resolutions into reality. 🌟 Happy Hump Day from HomeShred 🌟

How is it Wednesday already? Time really flies, doesn’t it? At HomeShred, we’re here for you whenever life feels overwhelming, offering a helping hand in the moments when you need it most.

This week, Jemma had a heartfelt conversation with a customer who recently lost her husband. 💔 On top of dealing with her grief, she was faced with the daunting task of sorting through not just their home paperwork, but also the stacks of paperwork from his old office.

After speaking at length, we were able to offer her some reassurance and guidance. We let her know that staples and paperclips don’t need to be removed, and that she could take her time with the process—there’s no rush.
