Work in progress.....hopefully some of these will be ready to go after this firing as this will be their second time in the heat. It is the first time for the Robins but very often they need a second firing. The space in the bottom right hand corner is for a special dog portrait which has already been fired three times and fingers crossed 🤞 it will be ready for its new home after this one. Each piece needs to be treated individually and when they are finished, each one will be unique 💜

Afternoon in the studio with the rain hammering down and then the wind blowing a hoolie. Good to be back indoors now with a glass of w**e and dinner. These are two recent commissions for a customer who has bought quite a few of my birds and wanted something different this time 💜

Moved from making birds to trees which have been selling well, these ones include 'silver' sparkles and my favourite glass balls 💜

Evening all, I am still busy making and these are two of my latest makes. Budgies are such happy little birds and I am enjoying the different colours 💜💚

Packed and ready to post tomorrow, these are actually three of my most popular birds too. The kiln is currently firing more orders of birds plus a few extras as I do like to make sure the kiln is full. Have a relaxing evening all 💜

Well these bright beauties certainly made a change from the brown of Sparrows, Wrens and Thrushes. They are not finished yet and will need to fire for a third time.....enjoy the rest of your weekend 💜

I think Barn Owls and Robins are my best sellers at the moment......oh and Wrens. I need to make something more colourful for a change from brown so Budgerigars are probably going to make an appearance soon. I'm looking forward to an early night as up early for Tai Chi class tomorrow 💜

Canadian Blue Jays.....I was asked to make these two and I had to look them up as I hadn't heard of them. It was a treat to make a different bird especially with the blue and my customer loved them 💙

I've made quite a few of these Jenny Wrens and they are probably one of my best sellers. They make me smile every time I take them out of the kiln. Have a lovely evening everyone 💜

Atchoo...atchoo....atchoo...now I've got the song stuck in my brain!! There has been a lull in orders so I thought I would have a play this afternoon, when they are finished I will tuck them away in their own little box until later in the year 💜
