Supporting our local community isn't always about the big gestures; sometimes it's about providing the right solution when it's needed.

When Chorley Football Club needed replacement dugout panels, replacing the entire shelters would have been a costly option. Instead, our team manufactured bespoke polycarbonate panels that accurately replicated the originals while giving the dugouts a fresh look.

It's a great example of how our in-house plastic fabrication capabilities can help organisations extend the life of existing equipment, reduce costs and achieve a professional finish.

Some of the team swapped their usual workwear for England shirts today as we got behind the national team ahead of the match later.

It's great to see everyone getting involved and showing their support. Wishing England the best of luck, we'll all be cheering them on!

Just over a week ago, we set our team a challenge. Walk from Land's End to John o'Groats, virtually. 874 miles. 1,748,000 steps.

We had no idea just how much we'd smash it.

The pace has been amazing, and we hit our milestone in just under a week. Which means we've extended the challenge all the way to Rome. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

We've made it to Scotland. Now, we're off to Italy.

Land's End โ†’ John o'Groats โ†’ Edinburgh โ†’ London โ†’ Dover โ†’ Calais โ†’ Paris โ†’ Dijon โ†’ Lyon โ†’ Turin โ†’ Genoa โ†’ Florence โ†’ Rome.

3,250 miles. All we're asking people to do is choose the stairs, take a lunchtime walk, get outside, and collectively achieve something amazing.

We're sharing this today ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week (11โ€“17 May) because that's exactly why we started this. This year's theme is Action, and that's precisely what our team has done.

Walking is one of the most powerful and accessible things any of us can do for our mental health. It lifts mood, reduces anxiety, clears your head, and it's a free way to exercise.

This March, two of our team members are taking part in The Great Tommy Sleep Out 2026 to raise funds and awareness for veterans facing homelessness across the UK.
By spending one night this month sleeping outdoors, they're supporting the Royal British Veterans Enterprise, which helps provide housing, support services, and employment opportunities for veterans in need.
We're proud to see colleagues stepping up for such an important cause. If you'd like to show your support, please consider donating or sharing their fundraising page.

We're proud to share that our International Women's Day fundraiser on Friday, 6th March raised an incredible ยฃ347.10 in support of Lancashire Women and Manchester Women's Aid ๐Ÿ’œ

This total was made possible thanks to the fantastic efforts across both sites: ยฃ180.10 raised in Preston and ยฃ167 raised in Manchester.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved: from Lolipops_Lancashire for providing the sweets for our games, to our brilliant bakers, to everyone who came dressed in purple or in their PJs, and, of course, all those who donated.
Your support made this a brilliant team effort for two very important charities. ๐Ÿ‘

Today we're celebrating International Women's Day by shining a spotlight on Lauren Wells ๐Ÿ’œ

Lauren has been part of PAR Group for almost 10 years, building strong relationships and playing a key role in employee engagement across the business. From organising social events to recently joining the QSS team at PAR Group Preston, Lauren helps make our workplace both enjoyable and safe.

Outside of work, her passion for animals shines just as brightly, having organised fundraising events for the RSPCA and currently fostering young and injured hedgehogs until they're ready for release ๐Ÿฆ”

Her advice to her younger self?

โ€œFriendships at work matter more than we sometimes realise. The laughter and the challenges are often what make work meaningful.โ€
