I like to lead by example.

I hear it all the time people saying they have no time to train when they’re working away. So today I built a small training ground out of things lying around (something I often do).

Is it perfect? No.

But it keeps you training when you have free time, which is essential in this job.

I also decided to demonstrate it myself with my own dog.

You’ll see mistakes in my handling as well. instructors and their dogs aren’t robots we make mistakes too.

I’m 100% transparent about that.

Too many instructors tell students what they should do without being able to do it themselves. I believe in practicing what I preach and letting my students see that mistakes are part of the process.
As long as you’re training, learning, and working to fix those mistakes with a well thought-out training plan, you’re moving in the right direction.

No excuses. Just train.

People will have no idea how much effort, hard work and energy it’s took to get us both to this stage in our careers but I’m grateful that we are in a position now to be able to take this photo… as we work side by side 🤙

From being shut down from being hit by another decoy and scared of being anywhere near a sleeve we have rebuilt rambos confidence and got him biting the sleeve and countering on his pull bite and working on his fitness with a diet plan with the owner .. In a couple months the dogs completely turned around with a lot more to come 💪🏻

We are already booked for a few festivals this season and can’t wait to get stuck in with our new vans all fully set up and tailored by the lessons we learned last year 🤙

Fly Festival done in conjunction with a friend and his company 🤙

Loved this task, me and my mucker running up and down the hills of Edinburgh castle chasing fence jumpers all weekend, in the pouring rain … that sorta tasking will show you who’s really about this game.

We are now back from our training over in Europe with our Firearms,Driving and Medical training refreshed and ready to start the year off with a bang!

We look forward to events season and doing more operational training with our private security GP K9 teams !
