The second Calrec Type R AV Resilience has installed. The first one was the first install of this desk in the UK in 2019 at Derby University and then lock-down got in the way.....This one has replaced a Studer OA3000 in the TV News Gallery at Salford University. Note, the image of the Core and Combo units doesn't show the final installation

It’s Dream Toys time again - showcasing the top 10 must-have toys for Christmas. For the fourth year AV Resilience is providing media access facilities. 2021 sees a hybrid version of the full-on trade show of 2019 and the virtual event that was run in 2020. We added TV last year and there are more requests for in-vision contributions this year and, interestingly, for interviews into commercial radio too.

I did something yesterday I haven't done in ohh, 25-30 years. I made a mixtape on cassette!! On a new cassette (yes they are making them again) and on a built-like-a-tank 1970s vintage Teac A450 cassette deck I was refurbishing (yes I do that as well, fix cassette decks and open-reel machines and business is goood. Please see my Reel Resilience FB page.) Well, if you have the where-with-all it would be a shame not too!
