It is brilliant to receive such positive feedback from our customers, including Tom & Natasha Bougourd, who are based in North Somerset with their Loxhill Flock, established in 2021. Natasha has said that ‘since feeding Henry’s feeds they have noticed improved results’. And at the Frome show their home bred Sherling Ram named ‘Loxhill Rex’ won Hampshire Down Breed Champion.

Moreton Show

At this time of year grazing quality starts to decline and although the recent spell of wet weather has helped improve grass growth the quality is not the best. Grazing cattle & sheep will benefit from supplementary feeding and Henry’s Blends can play a part.
Full of wholesome raw ingredients including, Barley, Oats, Peas, Beans (all grown in the Cotswolds) with the addition of Sugar Beet Pellets and molasses produces a top-quality feed which your stock will love.

"We have been feeding your 16% mix with added limestone flour to our show sheep as well as the lamb creep to the lambs and have had some success winning champion and reserve beltex at south of England show and champion at Kent in the beltex classes this year."

Getting ewes on a rising plane of nutrition before the tups go in is a great idea and can boost ovulation and increase lambing percentage. Aiming for a body score of 3-3.5 by turning ewes onto good pasture and by giving trace elements via boluses, drenches or feed buckets will all help. Using Henrys All Purpose Super Energy buckets or Henry’s Sheep Mineral buckets will do a good job.🐑
