Sport England highlighting an energy efficiency plan for sports clubs will be a precursor to funding support.

Sport England, which invests more than £300m of public money every year, intends to ask sports to do far more to fight the climate crisis as a condition of receiving funding, the Guardian can reveal.

This weekend our very own Chris Rush will be running a casual 110km!

To put this race into perspective it’s over 2.6 marathons in one go, with an elevation of 4000m (it’s like running Ben Nevis, Snowdon, Scarfell Pike and then Pendle Hill!) 😳

He’s raising money for the All for Rio campaign. For those who don’t know about this campaign, it’s raising funds for the Spurr family, whose little boy, Rio, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year
