Project Management of a different sort! 🩵💙
A few months ago I began a project that I hope to bring to life for my local community.
Using all the experience and training I have over the years for a completely different subject.
Steep learning curves are nothing new when you move across different therapeutic areas of research. For this one is also required the employment of a different way of working. Thankfully I can also draw on experience of volunteering, Chairing and organising charitable efforts and the role of school governor helps too!

Just finished a 9 month contract and ready for a Summer break. 🌸
A truly fascinating project in a therapeutic area I’ve not fully explored before.
A global review - research of research, scrutinising and drilling into the detail. Hundreds of clinical trials, meta-analysis, systematic reviews & articles building an unmatched knowledge base.

Had the pleasure of visiting the Royal Institution in London today.
Daniel Davis (Head of Department of Life Sciences, Chair in Immunology, Imperial College London), gave his lecture on “Myth-busting guide to immune health”. An excellent science communicater with fascinating new (unpublished as of this date), data on immunology and cancer research.
Interesting information on Vitamin C also.
Looking forward to reading his book!

Workspace
As a contractor/freelancer I’ve had the opportunity to work in some fantastic workspaces. Many of us have returned to our traditional offices and some have an adapted a shared work-from-home policy. I have found that there is one thing that makes a workspace great.
The people. Without a doubt it’s people bring the energy and dynamic nature to successful work. Weather you have a view over Tower Bridge or a Leatherhead car park if you have the team you can have a great work space.
I think that is what this article eludes to.
(But happy to have a good view too!)
