Dear Sam,

Sorry to hear the news that you have moved on from Chelmsford Mencap, however you should be very proud of yourself in what you have achieved.

I’m sure you will be missed and you sure have left big shoes to fill.

It’s a long stint 7 1/2 years in any job especially in one working with children/young adults with disabilities.

I hope you realise how appreciated you have been by each and every parent or child you have have dealt with.

I hope you are moving on to do bigger and better things somewhere else, you will be an asset wherever you go. Hope you find time to put your feet up firstly tho’.

You have the welfare of disabled people at heart and should therefore be welcomed with open arms. People like my daughter Katy would have nowhere to go were it not for people like you.
