This talk will explore the Norman buildings of Colchester, not least the Castle, built by ๐๐๐ฑ๐ผ ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ต ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐๐ฟ๐, while also setting these landmarks within the wider context of Normanโperiod stone houses and churches across the town๐ฐ
