From UFO beams to crop circles, every spread of It Came From Beyond the Stars is packed with colour and character. We printed Kevin Mc Hugh’s self-published comic as a 210 x 210mm, matt-laminated paperback with 36 pages on 170gsm silk – perfect for showing off that deep purple sky and neon alien green.

Kevin needed 300 copies in time for Enniskillen Comic Fest, so we helped with spine width, proof checks and a clear schedule from file upload to delivery.

This one’s a proper memento.

Elektra captures 2024 on tour with Charlie Sparks in a fast, punchy A5 stapled booklet.

We printed it full colour on uncoated stock, which adds a drier, more atmospheric slant to the photography — perfect for dark rooms and stage light.

Printer’s tip: if you’re running images across double-page spreads, keep faces and crucial details away from dead centre. The gutter will always steal a few millimetres in a stapled zine.

This one’s called France September 2025, a travel photo zine made as a keepsake for friends and family.

We printed it A5, full colour throughout, on 170gsm uncoated stock (cover and text) so it feels dry, soft, and made to be handled.

At 52 pages, it’s right up near the limit for stapled binding, which gives it a little bounce when you flip but it still opens up nicely. The mix of full-bleed spreads and clean white borders keeps the pacing spot on.

That pile is what May and June looked like for us. Degree show catalogues, zines, magazines, photobooks, children's books, photography books, childrens books and so much more.

Every single book in that pile was someone's project, someone's idea, something they had spent time making and wanted to hold in their hands. Our favourite part of the job is still the message that comes in when the delivery arrives and the client is happy with what they've got. That bit genuinely never gets old
