After five amazing years building this community, a quick message to let you know that I will shortly be closing the Ambitious Women in Essex page.

A huge thanks to everyone who has supported and contributed over the years, I am hugely grateful.

Its not the end... just a change of scenery as I take the community into something outside of my day job... find us over at our new home Collective (Instagram, Linked In and our new website!)

Big day to day as Ruskin University launched their report on Female Entrepreneurship in the region.

With huge thanks to Dr. Wei Kang, Frank Nyame-Asiamah and Sreya Menon Dileepan for all their research into the topic and letting Ambitious Women in Essex play such an important role.

Lovely to hold our celebration event at The Minories in Colchester, and see such an amazing group of Ambitious Women come along to support the findings.

To our amazing guest speakers Emma Somers and Lisa Ansell L.ISP for sharing their stories, and inspiring us all with some pearls of wisdom...

Special thanks to Maria Reid also for her contribution to the report.

Its been wonderful to see this research take shape, from early conversations with Wei, taking inspiration from York University and Nottingham Business School, and being able to feature in the Gender Index Report.

Proud would be an understatement. Excited to see where we go next.

On 30 June, Ambitious Women in Essex will be joining forces with Anglia Ruskin University once again, as we bring you an event to celebrate the launch of their report on female entrepreneurship.

Dr. Wei Kang, Frank Nyame-Asiamah and Sreya Menon Dileepan have been working really hard over the past few months to interview local women, speak with policy makers and understand what the past, present and future looks like for Essex women, using my community as a case study.

Join us from 10am at The Minories in Colchester, for networking, guest speakers, an overview of the report and lunch.

This is going to be a fantastic celebration, and there will be lots of opportunities to share your views too.
